Due to the intensity of this camp experience, registrants will be required to audition. By signing up you are registering for an audition slot after which students selected for the bootcamp will be registered. This will allow our faculty to provide the best experience for each registrant. This two-week intensive experience is the perfect opportunity for young artists ready to push themselves to the next level of Musical Theatre Performance. Every student will work on a monologue and solo musical performance throughout the week, learning to make strong character choices and decisions in one-on-one intensive sessions. Along with this individual work, students will be spending time on the dance floor, learning fresh choreography each day, along with a piece that will be presented at the conclusion of the camp. This camp will provide a triple-threat experience in a fast-paced, fun, engaging, and encouraging environment. At the end of the camp, students will take part in a mock audition with their pieces, showcasing their work. Following this, we will work our individual pieces into a devised performance, to be presented to the public. A musical theatre triple-threat intensive with focus on solo performance; this camp will equip each student with a wealth of new methods and strategies to maximize their performance and stand out from the crowd, all while creating spectacular bonds and memories for the group of young people! This two-week experience will provide young artists with a whole new toolbox of skills that can be used in any artistic endeavour and through their lives, all while creating memories that will last a lifetime!
