2026 Summer Day Camp - Ches Penney Family YMCA

YMCA Summer Day Camp runs weekdays with a full-day schedule and includes swimming, physical activity, games, hands-on learning, and craft activities. Registration is required, and there are camp checklists for what children should bring each day.

Children will participate in swimming, physical activity, games, hands-on learning, skill development, craft activities and more. The camp runs Monday to Friday with weekday hours, with specified drop-off and pick-up windows.

Everyday camp checklist highlights items to bring and keep clearly labelled, including healthy snacks and a lunch, appropriate outdoor/weather clothing, sneakers, a water bottle, and a swimming suit and towel.

There will be no camp on Canada Day (July 1) and Regatta Day.

A welcome email is sent before the camp starts. Campers needing additional support should contact the program manager prior to registration.

For recreational swims, a daily swim test determines if mandatory life jacket use is required.

Belongings should be labelled, and the YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
