Gordon Pinsent's "Brass Rubbings" offers a glimpse into the Warrack family's life in their Toronto home during the early 1980s. The play centers on Daphne Agnes Warrack, who strives to maintain the household's standards with the help of her groundskeeper, Freddy. Their efforts are tested by a changing neighborhood and the arrival of Daphne's globetrotting sister, Mo, and Mo's ex, Justin. As they gather for Dominion Day, old family matters surface, and an unexpected new presence threatens to disrupt the established order. Directed by Sean Cooper and Dave Anthony, this production brings a rarely seen play to Newfoundland and Labrador.
