Written by Nabila Qureshi and Abdullah Omar Saif and directed by Santiago Guzman, Binja is inspired by a Persian poem by Farid ud-Din Attar and the authors’ experiences with multi-cultural and multi-dimensional stories. The play is a journey of self-discovery with trials and tribulations along the way, and it conveys pan-cultural touchstones through animals as characters that are loved by many across Newfoundland and Labrador.
