Event Description: **PLEASE NOTE THAT ULTRASIGNUP HAS A GLITCH WITH TIME ZONES - REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEIR "LOCAL TIME" SAYS, REGISTRATION OPENS 12 NOON NEWFOUNDLAND TIME ON SUNDAY MARCH 1ST, 2026!**The Outpost 8k Trail Race will host it's third edition of the race on Saturday July 4th, 2026, at 9am sharp, starting at the Father Troy's Trail trailhead on Windgap Road in Flatrock, Newfoundland and Labrador. It will wind its way out to the giant boulder, what RD Tim Warren has always called "The Outpost", turning around there and following the coastal trail all the way to Torbay Beach for 8(ish) kilometers of up, down, in, out, single track and wide open paths.Please see the facebook page HERE for up to date information on the route, registration, and more as well as to ask any questions you may have.**NOTE** Construction on the Tapper's Cove Wharf is slated to be completed this summer, but it may not be done in time for race day. Please anticipate this race could very likely follow the same "detour" route as last year, landing the total distance closer to 8.8km should the construction not be completed in time. Unregistration, cancellation, bib transfers, and refunds will not be allowed. Deferring to another event or next year's race will also not be allowed.
