BUS OUTING #1: WINTERTON & HEARTS CONTENT TOUR Date: Thursday, August 6 Time: Depart the Town Hall at 7:45am. Departs the CBS Arena at 8:15am. Return at approximately 4:45pm. Enjoy a guided tour of the museum and surrounding areas, learning about traditional boatbuilding, fishing heritage, and the skills passed down through generations. Participants will be split into groups for guided tours and will have the opportunity to take part in a hands-on activity with a master boat builder. Enjoy some local music during lunch and maybe even a little dancing before continuing the day’s adventure with a visit to the Cable Station Museum in Heart’s Content. Choose from a ham or roast beef sandwich (cheese available upon request), served with turkey soup. Ticket Information: Tickets go on sale Monday, August 4th, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Conception Bay South Town Hall. They must be purchased in person and are available to CBS residents aged 65 and older. ID is required for proof of residency. Limit two tickets per person.
