St. John’s Pride: Meet DATE! & Putting Sex Back In Pride Panel

This event features two parts focused on sex worker rights and sexual liberation. The first segment introduces DATE! (Dignity Advocacy Tools Empowerment), Newfoundland and Labrador's first sex worker co-op. Attendees can meet activists, learn about the importance of sex worker rights within Pride and broader liberation movements, and discover ways to offer support.
The second part, a panel discussion titled "Putting Sex Back In Pride," delves into the connection between queer liberation and bodily autonomy. It examines how to navigate sexual expression in a society with lingering stigmas and addresses emerging threats to liberation movements. Panelists will discuss creative expressions of sexuality, diverse relationships, and sex work.
