Featuring Simon Rivard, conductor Charles Richard-Hamelin, piano On the Program Bela Bartók: Piano Concerto No. 3 – 23 minutes Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 1, “Titan,” (reduction by Erwin Stein) – 50 minutes The night opens with Bela Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3, a work of striking contrast and luminous beauty.
