Echo Pond asks parents/guardians to register each child for only one camp per summer. The FAQ says campers and staff sleep in the Bunkhouse, 6-7
campers share each bedroom, and roommate requests can be made on the registration form.
Echo Pond says families receive payment information after filling out the Part 2 registration form. Payments can be made by e-transfer to
[email protected] or by cheque. Payment plans are available if families contact Echo Pond as soon as possible. Echo Pond says if it can fill a child's spot, the family receives a full refund minus a $25 administration fee. Refunds are issued once the spot is filled.
The public source does not list formal accessibility accommodations. Families with complex dietary needs are asked to contact Echo Pond before camp so
meals can be arranged. The public source does not list a separate inclusion support process. It does say staff are attentive to individual children and that children may choose different activities when they are not comfortable participating. Echo Pond publishes a 1:6 staff-to-child ratio. Staff receive training before camp, have First Aid/CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Checks, and the kitchen treats allergies seriously. The FAQ says camp is 1.5 hours from the Janeway and parents are encouraged to send multiple EpiPens when needed. The pond swim area is roped off and life jackets are available.
