The Blizzard Pre-Season Defensive Camp is a half-day, skill-based development program designed to prepare young defencemen for the upcoming season in an age-appropriate, structured environment. This camp blends foundational defensive habits with progressive game concepts, helping players sharpen positioning, awareness, and decision-making while building confidence before the season begins. Skaters will be divided by skill level, allowing each group to train at the appropriate pace while reinforcing proper defensive habits. The focus is on teaching players how to defend with purpose, understand their role in the defensive zone, and transition the puck effectively; without overloading younger athletes or rushing development. Orientation: This program is designed as a pre-season tune-up for U7 - U13 players looking to reinforce defensive fundamentals, improve hockey IQ, and arrive at evaluations and early-season skates prepared and confident.
